BABY LIMA BEANS
It belongs to the species Phaseolus Lunatus L. It is generally cultivated in the northern coast of Peru. It is a moderately rustic crop, it adapts to the coast conditions, in the surrounding inter-Andean valleys.
It has a creamy white-colored very medium-sized bean and it has a kidney shape. The Baby Lima Beans has the feature of being less greasy than other leguminous plants. It has vitamin B, protein, fiber, iron, potassium and magnesium.
Once harvested, it is disinfected and calibrated for exportation.
The process is made under an appropriate quality and sanitation control.
